Unsure of Law; Recently Changed Plans

I am unsure of the career i've been planning on, and I've become very interested in law. I'm a current senior, and I have been told that lawyers are overworked, the market is crowded, and they dont get very much pay, but Im very interested in law, history, philosophy, ect.

If I were to do law, I'd go undergrad at UGA and probably law school there too unless I got accepted into any Ivy League school. I want to work for a large firm before starting my own practice. How feasible is this?

You're a senior in HIGH SCHOOL. Don't worry about law school now. One great thing about applying to law school is that there are NO undergraduate course requirements. So, focus on enjoying the rest of your senior year. Remember when you get to college that even first semester will count in your gpa and thus affect your chances of getting into law school--or of getting a job. When you've finished about two years of college, if you're still interested in law school, come back to this board--if it still exists.

hey p3ac3k33per, same exact boat, pretty much my entire life i was kinda bent on becomming a teacher. but very recently, post acceptance to college, i want to do law. i changed my major to History and Poly sci and gonna go for it, even tho im a senior too i think i should move in that direction. good luck
