So here is my problem, i want to go to university of michigan art and design, yet i am scared that it is the wrong choice in terms of prestige.
First these are the schoosl i was accepted:

Pratt
VCU
RIT
University of the Arts
SCAD
UofM
College for creative studies

I have heard about all of them, except for UofM. I want to do 3d animation in the future. My cousin hires people for dreamworks and said SCAD has the best reputation in the industry (out of those schools).

I want to also get a masters, which i think would be easier to do from michigan than scad. I would also be majoring in general art and design compared to animation at scad. With the strong background in art, i think i would have a good chance at a masters program at cal arts risd or elsewhere. UofM is also self motivated and i would have alot of freedom to learn what i want. I am obviously leaning towards UofM, but i am worried that it may not be a good art program, since i have yet to find any info on it. I would think they have a reputation to uphold, so the program would be good, but i dont know.

So i am worried about going there because i have heard so much about all the other schools, and nothing about michigan in terms of reviews and such. If anyone has links to reviews/ranks/ratings...etc, that would be great. The only thing i could find was from 2001 from art schools.com which has michigan as one of the top 35 art programs and claims they accept 15%... http://www.artschools.com/articles/admission/best/

Any advice is greatly appreciated! thank you!
