UofWashington vs Boston University (need advice!)

I have been accepted to the College of Engineering in both of the schools, but really struggling with the choice. Any tips would be highly appreciated!

What kind of engineering do you want to study? Is weather or class size a big factor in your decision? You need to give us some more information on what you hope to get out of your school experience, both socially and academically.

Aeronautical is what I got accepted into. However I am not 100% set, even into the brunch of engineering in general. The weather is not that big of a factor. I would also prefer smaller classes no doubt. What I am looking for is a very social college experience with a lot of chances and opportunities to try things and to make important connections.

Two good friends of mine go to BU and love it. I don’t know much about the class sizes at either school (although UW is my future school) but I do know a little about the social aspects of each. I know at UW a lot of people that like to be socially involved are a part of the Greek system. I’ve heard (haven’t had personal experience) that socially, you will have a better time if you are in the Greek system. However, at BU, it isn’t as popular and you will definitely have a great time without pledging. Also, BU is not a centralized campus like UW is. The buildings and dorms are more spread out. Personally, I prefer the campus layout of UW. Hopefully that helps a little!
