The latter two ap classes (bio and stats) ar classes I’m struggling really hard in. I managed to get As in AP bio but that’s because my teacher is easy and I feel like I haven’t learned anything so far. I have a barrons ap bio review book but I don’t know how to use it effectively. To me, anyone can work hard in an ap class, but one needs to know how to work EFFECTIVELY. any tips on how to score a 5 on AP bio? My grades in AP stats have been horrible (for me) So far I have two B+ and a B (that’s because my teacher gives a 5 percent grade bonus) and that class has been my hardest so far. Any tips on how to study well for a 5? I bought a Princeton review book and at my school for both classes there is a good pass rate. I need a 5 to “skip” those classes in college. I am planning to attend nursing school. My last ap class, AP us history is by far my drop dead easies class. I’ve always considered myself as enjoying history and understanding connections… any tips for ap bio and ap stats (best way to get a 5) would be appreciated. Thank you!
You should try to get a 3 in Bio and Stats.
You should probably retake these classes in college anyway.
I agree with @mommdc, I know from experience that bio can be tough and a 3 is an achievement in any AP course. Bozeman Science has excellent review videos on YouTube for AP Bio that you should check out. Also, Fiveable (https://fiveable.me/) is a pretty cool online resource that has teachers who host live streams every week where you can ask questions and access tons of other resources they create. Lastly, try finding something about Stats and Bio that interests you. If you can find something interesting in the course, then you’re more likely to be interested in learning more material. Keep in mind that courses shouldn’t be all about grades, they should be about the knowledge you obtain. Hope this helps!
