updating IDOC package?

<p>Is there a way to add documents to your IDOC package?</p>

<p>We mailed our package on Feb 7 because of a Feb 15th deadline at S's two IDOC schools. Since then my husband received 3 additional 1099s during the last week in February. </p>

<p>I contacted both schools to ask them if they needed copies of those additional 1099s. They don't change anything in our tax return as the income was already included in my H's schedule C. One school asked that we send copies directly to them. The other school insists that we need to send a second packet to IDOC. Everything I see on the IDOC site suggests that this is not allowed/possible. I haven't gotten through to a human there yet, so I'm checking here. Does anyone know how to send additional documents to add to your child's IDOC package?</p>

<p>Ok I finally got a human on the phone and despite all the dire warnings about not sending different documents in separate mailings, all you need to do is print out your cover sheet again and mail it with the additional documents, and they will be added to the prior packet and made available to all your schools. In case anyone else needs to know.</p>
