UPenn Class of 2018 ED Applicants

I would love it if they released them early! I’m just going to be freaking out until December 16th

My friend in Penn just told me that last year they were notified by mail that the decisions would be posted on 12th, just like we were emailed about ours coming out on 16th. So no it wont be posted earlier than that, we’re just going to have to keep refreshing the page again and again on 16th (17th for me).

The wait is killing me
At least I’ll have finals week to take my mind off things, if only during the day

I’m so jealous of everyone who has finals week. I don’t have finals until the end of January and I already had my midterms last month. My school’s in a bit of pre-Christmas lull. It does pick up from here on out, but not quite enough to take my mind off decisions.

You guys should start watching a show or something. I started watching Grey’s anatomy it keeps me busy enough lol

I just finished 1st season of House of cards. And also all seasons of It’s always sunny in philadelphia. Don’t know what to do with my life anymore

Re-run of Modern Family! and hunting for another show P.S. House of Cards is really great!

@KarishmaSheth @absingha @Harrovian, any intended major?

We watch the Big Bang Theory…It is always good for some laughs and will take your mind off of the next week…

Watch Awkward guys, its amazing! and TVD and White Collar and Suits!

White Collar and Big Bang Theory watched every episode till date! I have heard amazing things about suits as well, maybe I should try that out

But now I am thinking of going back to the 90s and watch seinfeld… Regarded one of the best tv shows of all time

definitely go for suits, you’ll get addicted to it and then it’ll be the 16th before you know it!

honestly, guys, we’re all going to be fine. I know that sounds cliche and dumb and we’re all freaking out at the moment, but hey, everyone here is so smart and driven. We all have ridiculously high grades and scores and ECs, and we’re all the type of people the Ivies “want”; some of us just have an extra hook or will be luckier than others. But I truly believe that we will all be fine. The next four years are going to be amazing, even if we go to our safeties–which, judging from the people here, are still going to be pretty darn good schools.
If I don’t get into Penn, I’ll be really upset. Really, really upset. But there’s a better future waiting…and hey, it’s not that long until April, right? (Wrong, but I’m trying to make myself feel better).
Good luck to y’all, and let’s keep our collective chin up. After busting our butts throughout high school, college is going to be lovely.

@writergirl4224 I definitely agree with you! Its scary but we will manage to do something.

and @king2567 do watch Friends? The best tv show to cope with current stress

Hey, guys! I’ve been following this discussion, but I finally created an account. I’m applying ED to the Huntsman program. 8 more days!

i love watching funny sitcoms like the office, 30 rock, & parks & rec. they are all really light-hearted and will definitely take your mind off of decisiosn for a little bit!

mumford07 - yes ofc seen all seasons a million times! what about Everybody Loves Raymond?

blacklist - welcome hehe! yessss not long now eek

Applying to Wharton.
Yes I love modern family! If you liked house of cards, see the original UK version. It’s as, if not more, brilliant than than the US one. Talking about 90s shows, no show, NO show can beat Friends. Amirite? Any Arrested Development fans here?

So I had this dream last night. I get a mail. The subject is “Penn: You are in!”. The body reads “Dear applicant! Congrats. You have been given a place in the class of 18 batch of Penn state university”. Sigh

hahahahaha! absingha [Nelly - Just A Dream - YouTube](<a href=“Nelly - Just A Dream (Official Music Video) - YouTube”>Nelly - Just A Dream (Official Music Video) - YouTube)

Hey guys! Waiting nervously for d-day and dividing up the time into every single possible measurement: hours, days, number of sleeps, number of times I check CC, number of times I stress-argue with my parents, etc. more TV shows: Louie/sets by Louis CK. So funny and sobering. And who could forget Cupcake Wars/the entire Food Network repertory.
Also books! Stuff by David Sedaris/Joyce Carol Oates/David Foster Wallace/The New Yorker is getting me through.
