@Mystic I’d kill to be in the bubble of a small school in NYC! I live four hours away from a big city, and that’s a horrible bubble to be in!

My interview was over Skype, and I think we both felt pretty awkward during it. But when I emailed her to say thank you she said something about how my intellectual curiosity make it clear that I will succeed in whatever I do… So hopefully that means she said something good about me!

My interviewer never e-mailed me back but I don’t think she checks that e-mail cus she’s never replied to my e-mails. And she said that she’d be surprised if I didn’t get into an Ivy, so I suppose she liked me. Or maybe she just says this to everyone… She did not reply to my thank-you e-mail after all.

Mine didn’t reply to my email either but we had so much in common (same high school and even same primary school) so I hope that’s not indicative of my interview being poor… I thought it went really well!

I don’t want to burst any bubbles, but interviews literally do not matter unless you absolutely bomb them. Otherwise, they don’t really hurt or help much. They’re primarily a service to applicants to provide them some extra information about the school.

Hey guys, new to this forum. Did anyone else get an email today informing them that their financial aid application is not complete? Mine required a document to be faxed over, which I’m almost positive my mother already did. Any word if this means anything? Thanks.

that seems like a pretty good sign… if they actually are looking at your financial aid stuff im guessing that they would be planning on accepting you, and are making your financial aid package…

Haha @sonofasailor95 mine would be
Accepted: Best Day of my Life by American Authors or Like a Boss by the Lonely Island
Rejected: Airplanes Pt 2 by B.o.B or Carry On by Fun
and @montyx619 I agree with rodrigo. I think that’s a good sign!

For me, accepted would be Tonight’s The Kind Of Night by Noah and the Whale
Rejected, Carry On by fun. maybe. Or Hold It Kid (Your Heart Just Skipped A Beat) by the Weeks. Or Mission Failed by San Cisco. I have way too much sad music…

So there’s less than 1 week left. Oh god. I’m stressing. (Is it bad that I watched the countdown clock change from 1 week to 0 weeks 6 days?)

And I dunno what my song would be. But, if I get in I’ll probably watch something happy and about the underdog like Slumdog Millionaire. and if I don’t then it’ll probably be Mamma Mia or Les Miserables. I’ll need something to cheer me up or just completely wallow in my misery.

My dad’s Harvard undergrad and Georgetown Law, my mom’s Northwestern!
Victory Music: Beethoven Symphony 3
Rejection Music: The Kinks or The Talking Heads
