Got into Tulane’s honor program &I with Presidential Scholarship

@harrovian when did you get the email?

@Mystic I got mine in early November.

About confirmation of receiving your financial aid documents?

@Harrovian if you’re talking about the CSS profile I submitted that along with the penn financial aid supplement and my tax returns and I got an email. Maybe it means something maybe it doesn’t

@Mystic yeah.
@captainchin oh, I dunno then… Maybe because you mailed in your tax return?

In past years people have said that if penn emailed you about confirming financial aid documents around December that you were in.

Guess I didn’t get in…

Really cus it seemed like just an automated response to me. But if so then that’s great for those with emails but you never know it might not mean anything.

I submitted my fin aid info through my college board css profile and penn’s fin aid supplement. I also submitted my parents’ tax forms via fax… Omg what if I got rejected… It’s not even dec. 16th. ):

Is the email you guys are talking about this one?

Dear Prospective Penn Student:

This email acknowledges receipt of 2014-2015 Financial Aid application materials. Please do not send duplicate documents as this may delay processing your application.

A checklist of required forms and deadlines can be found at…

@blulub I’m assuming so because I applied for financial aid but didn’t receive that email.

I got that email ^ on November 21st…

I think you should just call and make sure they received the documents or whatever.

Got mine Nov 4
Seems just like an automated message though…
And I mailed my financial stuff in so it was probably just to confirm

Got that one on Oct 30, I don’t think it means anything if that’s the one everyone’s talking about

I got that email on November 14th – seems like it’s not really a sign, considering how many of us have received it

If it says non-financial aid candidate on the portal, I’m assuming that means I didn’t apply/and in financial aid, correct?

So I just called to see if they could check if all my documents had been sent, and I was told that they couldn’t individually track students’ documents. I was also told that if I were missing any documents, I would be notified via email. I got an email around November 20th saying that they were missing my SAT scores, but I got everything figured out. Were any of you guys missing any documents the first time around? I don’t know why they wouldn’t have sent that email to everybody applying for financial aid other than it being some sort of indicator for admission.

Edit: and the email I received didn’t mention my missing my financial aid documents either. Ugh, I wish the penn portal would work.

*apply for financial aid

Yeah that e-mail was what I got.
