So I'm applying to the Huntsman Program at UPenn which requires its own specific essay, but on the Common App you also have to choose another school (I chose Wharton) as your alternate option if you don't get into the program. My problem is that there is the essay that is like "discuss why you chose to apply to this school at UPenn," so do I write about why I chose to apply to Wharton, or is it asking me to discuss why I chose to apply to the Hunstman Program which is a combination of two schools? This is sort of confusing to me. I know that at Cornell there are two separate essays for your first and second choice school which only go to those specific school, so I was wondering if any of you know if UPenn is the same? Please help me if you know because I don't want to end up submitting an essay on how I'm perfect for the Huntsman Program if it's being sent to Wharton!!!!

Huntsman will have separate essays. The prompts for each differ. See http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/apply/freshman-admission/essays

@Wharton2020 so do I write the non-huntsman essay about Wharton only?

Yup!
