Upward GPA a great factor?

<p>How big of a factor does an upward trend in your gpa play? Because here is my trend</p>

<p>Freshman:3.07 weighted
Sophomore:3.35 weighted
Junior:3.63 weighted
Cumulative: 3.35 weighted</p>

<p>Will colleges view this as a substantial increase/upward trend? And how much of a factor will it be during my college admissions?</p>

<p>Upward trend is better than downward trend, but worse than consistency.</p>

<p>I believe if you come from a background that doesn’t have a complete eductation (AKA, first generation), URM, or low-mid income, then an upward trend isn’t considered that much “worse” than consistency.</p>
