Hello all!

I have a query. I have been admitted into UMKC and SanDiego state university for Fall 2008. But, I am unable to decide on which one to choose. Can anyone please help me out in this regard? Please guide me which university has better job and internship opportunities and which one has better courses.I will be grateful if someone could help me.

Regards and thanks.

UMKC is, from a quick stats overview, the stronger school in terms of student body. And it has a better student-teacher ratio (9:1 vs 20:1) compared to SDSU. Plus, from what I've read, it seems SDSU students often have big trouble graduating on time. The same problem may well exist at UMKC, but I'm not familiar enough with the school to confirm or deny the existance of such an issue. Just considering that, I would probably choose UMKC.

Of course, there are a few other things you should be considering:

Cost - If it is you footing the bill rather than your parents, money probably matters quite a bit. Which is cheaper for you? And is the difference in cost large enough to have significant impact?

*Location - Do you want to live in either city? A certain type of environment that one might fit better than the other?

Major and employment - Do they both have the program you want? How certain are you of your academic plans? And after graduation, where/what do you want to do for a living? Is grad school being considered at all?
