URGENT: Mudd or Full Ride?

I know it's a day before the commitment deadline, but just today I was offered the Cal State Fullerton President's Scholarship. The benefits of the program are:
•In-state California State University enrollment fees and all campus-based student fees
•A generous annual stipend for books and supplies
•A laptop computer for each scholar’s personal use throughout the four-year program
•Priority registration for classes and guaranteed on-campus housing on the honors and scholars floor
•Complimentary parking permits for fall and spring semesters
•Automatic admission to the University Honors Program
•Opportunities for up to 20 hours per week of on-campus employment
•Study abroad opportunities through CSUF International Programs
•Special invitations from the university president to numerous social, cultural and athletic events
•Special recognition at Honors Convocation and University Commencement ceremonies
•Letters of recommendation from the university president for graduate school and job references following graduation from Cal State Fullerton

I'm so conflicted because Harvey Mudd it's my first choice. My "dream school" aha. But it's hard to deny getting paid to go to school. I want to know your opinions! Thank you so much!

Consider the following questions in your decision:

What is the net price of each option? Debt needed, if any?

Your major and post-graduation goals?

Sounds like you should have sent in the Mudd acceptance yesterday.

If you can afford Mudd, postpone the thrill of being paid to go to school for grad school.

Do “all fees” include the housing and room and board that are 12-13,000 per year? It seems that fees at CSU represent about 1/3 of total COA.

Getting paid to go to college might be a different thing.

I dunno…you have two good options but I’m a huge Mudd fan…if Mudd is affordable, I’d say go there… I think this is something you should talk to your parents about though. They may have strong feelings about it.

Haha weirdly enough events and finances played out so I wouldn’t send my commitment deposit until today! Thanks for all the input. I decided (along with my parents) that I’m going to Mudd! :)

Congratulations!

A great decision, IMO! Congrats!

A no brainer. Nice job.
