Hi!!! I signed up for 2 sat II in Novemeber, which I regret a lot right now because there is no way I will be ready for both... Am I allowed to not take one of them? Will there be any record left that shows that I cancelled one test without taking it?

two subject tests? You don’t have to do both. It doesn’t even matter what you take on the test day or how many you take (up to 3 obviously), apparently they “bill you later”

Confirming the above responses and adding clarification. Let’s suppose you had only signed up to take one subject test and decided you wanted to take two. You would simply tell the proctor and fill out some paperwork but would be allowed to take the additional test that day. A paper bill would be mailed to you that you have to pay with a paper check, as in, there was no way to pay on-line for the additional exam, as of a year ago.

Your score report will not include any mention of the second test you did not take. Just make sure you leave the testing center as soon as you complete the first test. Best of luck to you!

No. You paid to take two tests when you registered. You will lose the fee you paid for the second test, but you will not be billed anything additional.

I was trying to give another example since post #3 discussed billing. You are only billed if you decide to take more tests than you originally registered to take.

So for your situation, you can just walk out of the testing center after taking the first test, no record of the untaken second test will appear, and you will forfeit the extra $12 (or whatever the amount is) that you paid for the second test.
