So, the fact is I registered for the SAT II ( Math I&IIC n US History) Oct test date last month and have been toiling at it. But I'm now fully aware that getting decent scores this Oct is out of question. So, what must I do to change or delay it, say, to the Dec test date ? And how 'bout the refund thing ? I read the CB site n still can't make it out. Anyone has experience in this kind of stuff, please help me. I really really need your help =)

Oops, I posted the question above out of desperation, since you know there are just 17 days left when I haven't been able to cram much for the test :D. So, here is my real question :).

A couple of weeks ago, I registered for the 3 SAT II subject tests(MathI,IIC,US His) on Oct 14th. I've been toiling at the US His recently, which is excessively tough for international students like me. So, now I just want to take Math IC n US History on Oct 14th (Math IIC will be for Dec test date). What must I do to inform CB of this? And if I don't take Math IIC this Oct, how 'bout the fee I've paid for it? I heard that if you don't take the test you registered on the test date, you will get score 0 ? Is that true?

Anybody knows this sort of stuff, please rescue me (I sound so much like an ignoramus, rite ?). Much obliged ;)

Thanks elizabeth for your reply. Thing definitely has been clearer. But still, I'm pretty confused by these following words I read in the SAT registration booklet:

"If you erase or leave blank all answers to an individual Subject test, it will be considered a cancellation, and scores from all tests taken that day will be cancelled"

Does it mean that if I registered for one subject and don't take it on the test day, the remaining two I take will not be scored, too ? And the more frightening thing is a couple of days ago, I read somewhere on this board that if you don't take your registered test, you will get a 200 ?
Is that true ? :(

Yeah. And best to be safe by cancelling the score by contacting CB. (unless, if there is such thing as, "you cancel 1, you cancel all" ? nah i dont think it does)

"leave the answers blank, while taking the test":
a guy sits a chem test.
but he's just sitting there.
not bubbling ANYTHING.
everyone else is reading and bubbling.

^^. I have contacted them through email and all they said is just you don't have to notify us if you want to change or delete a test (their emails are quite general cuz I sent them 3 different emails with different queries and the content of their replies are exactly the SAME, lol)
But my case is not cancel a score or smth like that. I just don't want to take one SAT II test I registered :). No one has been in the same shoes to share some experience? -_-

If you take the two tests that you want to take and then leave, you won't get any score for the third one, but you also won't get a refund. Unless you sit there for the third hour but don't actually take a test, the third test won't be graded. (If you were to just sit there and not answer any questions, your blank answer sheet means the CB will automatically cancel all your scores from that test date)

When you register for SAT II's the actual tests you sign up for mean absolutely nothing - you can take whichever tests you want when you get to the test center. You can also add tests (and get billed for them) and drop tests (but no refund) - you don't need to tell the proctors anything

Thanks tanman 4 your detailed reply. I've been dying for some responses for days, LOL. Now I just want to take 1 instead of 3 due to time pressure. Is that still ok (except the cold fact that I will lose 16$ :() ? -_-

(I'm just curious how does CB know how many hours you will sit at the test centre, especially when test takers live in foriegn country like me ? :D)
