Well. I only said "urgent" because I do want to know relatively soon where to go. It's been a great decision of my life so far so as much help is appreciated! Thanks!

Well, I'm set to be an engineering major and the two schools in the title are where I'm accepted to, with great financial aids. They are so far my two most likely schools for attendance.

Yet, they are quite distinctly different and having lived my life abroad I feel it's necessary I get some help up here! I've visited RPI and the small size campus seemed alright to me. My biggest concern of attending a rather small school: how active can my extracurricular life be? Not that RPI doesn't have any clubs or anything, but I've originally always looked to attending schools in NYC/Boston, where I know I can spend every day of my next four years exploring something new. So I'd like to ask about how "boring" may it get to attend a smaller school after, say, 2 or 3 years?

On the other hand, I'm sure due to the greater size I will have more to explore at Ann Arbor, be it the people or the school itself. However, how much of the city or the region do I get to explore? Again, I don't want my experience to be too far off from if I were to go to NYC. Do UMich students actually interact with Detroit? Is that even something that exists?

Of course academics would be a determining factor, too. So if you're kind enough to leave me any message, feel free to make your choice based on academics. For me, the two schools are pretty much the same. I could be naive, though!

Also, I've actually admitted to UWash (Seattle) and NYU-Poly as well. If you'd like to speak for any of these two, just explain yourself!

Thanks for anything guys!
