urgh, dumb program! i dont know what to take?

I'm working to be a surgeon in my future, but I know that I have to become a doctor first in order to do that. But I'm having trouble deciding what classes I should take. I'm in the IBMYP program and I think I might go for the IB Honors or IB Diploma. Anyways, last year (freshmen year) I completed IBMYP Biology with an A for my year grade. I'm not sure what science to do next year because the thing is is that I'm scheduled for IBMYP Chemistry, but now that I realize it, I haven't taken Physics yet. And I think I'll at least need some knowledge of physics to do well on that section of the MCAT.

My first plan is this: instead of taking Concet Choir as my elective, double up in IBMYP Chemistry and IBMYP or regular Physics. But then in 11th grade IDK whether its better to do IB Chemistry or IB Biology or both. (I think both will be way too hard, they are both HL's and I think I'll have to do 2 group 4 projects or something)

2nd plan: Stick with IBMYP Chemistry ONLY and continue with Concert Choir, then in 11th grade take IB Bio or IB Chem (whichever one i will need more...) and make MYP physics my elective. (if I do this, Im not sure if I can be elegible for the IB Diploma because I need 3 SL credits)

I'm honestly leaning towards IB Bio HL for junior/senior year. Im thinking about majoring in Biology for pre-med or something. For college, Im looking at applying to uva, william and mary, vcu, boston university, and virginia tech. [i live in VA :D]

You're a sophomore in HS and you're concerned about the MCAT!?! What the hell is wrong with you?

idk i was just thinking ahead. :/ is that not good? Im trying NOT to stress but idk thats just me.

it's nice to remember that you HAVE to take the MCAT, but just concentrate on getting into a decent undergrad program first!

as long as you've got good grades in 4+ sciences, you should be fine for pre-med. med schools don't look at your high school courses.

haha ok i will not stress. it will be in the back of my mind but thats okay. i think i will go with plan 2 and continue with chemistry, whatever i feel like is best!

Yes, I don't understand why you're thinking about MCATs this early. You could do perfectly well in high school then go to college and pull a 2.5 GPA which will eliminate from medical school. Just concentrate on graduating high school and doing well in college and if by sophomore year you have above a 3.3 GPA, then study for MCAT. Otherwise it might be wise to consider other professions.

ok thank you for that.
