Hi Everyone!!
Should I take the US History subject test or the Biology Subject Test? I got around the same score for both when I took a practice test of each. I am also planning on taking Literature and Math II. I have to take 3 subject tests because I am homeschooled and Emory, a college I am looking at, requires it. However, as long as I take Math II, they don’t have a preference. Which one is easiest to study quickly, but will look good alongside my other subject tests? I haven’t taken AP in either of these subjects.
as with so many things in life, go with what’s actually true, not what ‘looks good’. Which subject are you genuinely stronger in? which is more interesting to you? take that one. Emory will be less bothered by whether you did Bio-Math-Lit or History-Math-Lit than how well you did- and in general, we do better at the things we like.
Thanks. I do enjoy biology more, but since I’m taking US history this year, I thought it might be easier. Since I’m getting the same score anyway, I guess I can do biology!
@naturecreative Neither US history or Biology are easy tests. Your decision should build off many different factors. What do you have more experience/background in? Which one do you personally enjoy learning more? I would say that the two are of relatively equal difficulty.
