US News College Compass

Can someone give me some information to save me $30 please?

I am looking between the following business schools...
- Indiana University (Accepted)
- Miami (Ohio) University (Accepted)
- University of Michigan (Deferred)

Could someone tell me the US News College Campus overall undergraduate business school ranking, then the sub rankings for each major for each college, please? THANK YOU!

Anyone? Please

Have you tried the Business Week ranking? It’s free.

They’re all pretty highly ranked by BW. I’d hesitate to make a 5- to -10-position spread in a magazine ranking enough to override significant differences in cost or personal “fit”.

Well, just from the front page of USNWR you can see that UMichigan is tied for #2 and Indiana is #10. However these ratings are not the be all and end all so be sure to consider which school is the best fit (including size, academics, location, finances etc.). In addition, if you do get into UM, you will most likely not be a preferred admit to Ross so be aware that if you have to apply to the b-school after freshman year it is very competitive and you might not get in.

Yes I have looked at the best fit, Business Week, and cost… I am just trying to see the USNWR official rankings as well

Thanks everyone though!

I feel like Indiana is pretty over ranked though… Does anyone feel the same way?

That is where fit comes in. The rankings are all based on somewhat arbitrary criteria. IMO, you should never choose one school over another simply because it is ranked higher. If you feel more comfortable at one school, if you feel one schools is better located, if you prefer the size of one school, if one school has the size classes that you prefer or anything else, that should weigh into your decision more than the ranking.

Yeah I’m not making my decision based on what other people who didn’t even go to these colleges ranked it, I’m just pretty curious
