Hi, pls dont stone me!!! I kinda dont know whether its okay to post such a thread in this forum. Just would like some advice...

I got rejected from all my applications except one, UMich =)
But i also got a place in Imperial College London doing biology.

I know this is so called a "good" problem, and I would like some help with the decision.

ThankS! Appreciate your help!

Awesome choices. Would you rather have London or Ann Arbor? A single major at Imperial or electives/minors at Michigan? Athletics at Michigan or London-based entertainment?

In terms of academics I think Imperial is better. Imperial is straight on sciences, whereas UMich does bits of everything, but speciality has it's benefits i.e MIT > Harvard for sciences simply because all its resources are focused on that one subject.

I got into both Michigan and Imperial for Engineering and I'm going to be at michigan next fall. Even though the Imperial academics are top notch, the ability to have minors, double majors etc appealed to me. Also, the well-rounded life at Ann Arbor appealed to me.

Oh my gosh fattyfish, I
m in the same exact situation as you!
I got into Imperial for Biochem. I also just recieved a decision from Uchicago! It
s definately a tough choice
