^ Mhm. 10char

yay thats the only other one i was worried about

-2, 10 essay is approx. ~740-800 range… (that includes +/- 30 from 770)

anyone remember whaat they put for improving paragraphs after the Second world war, comma something

okay, this might sound a little bit cocky, but for those of you wondering why the geese question was no error

explain to me how it WASN’T no error. besides, “oh it was awkward.” cause that doesn’t really matter if you can’t prove a grammatical error.

EDIT: oh, and for the second world war, i think i put “war, even though they thought traditional buildings were beautiful” or something along those lines.

For the section 10 question about rock musicians that can develop endurance similar to that of athletes, is the answer D (the one with rock musicians) or E (rock musician)? The sentence in question had rock musician as the subject, and I chose D. Is that correct?

It was D :)

In the beginning of the sentence, there was an indicator suggesting rock musicians had to be plural.

Ok thanks!

Last month I got a 10 on my essay, but looked online and noticed that my writing was rather… huge. So I tried to fix that this time and wrote a lot more, but was unable to finish the final sentence in my conclusion. Could that end up having a negative impact on my score?

one sentence? then, no. It is hollisitcally scored, so u wont be docked down a whole point. At the same time, if the grader is on the fence between giving u-say- a 5 or 6, the grader may be inclined to give you a 5.

what do you guys think a -4 and an 8 essay would be?

vapperss-maybe a 680-700?

What was 12 on section 12. Was it although… They?

@raza sorry I meant -5 with a 7 essay. High 600s maybe??

It’s “Although a more skilled politician.”

The answer choice containing despite needs a verb [e.g. “Despite being a more skilled politician”] which is why it’s wrong.

what would -2/3 and 10/11 essay be? hopefully above 750?

For the polictian question was there an answer choice that had “compared to other politicians” in it?

So long story but I accidentally skipped 10 writing questions cause I missed a page. Anyone know how that would change my score (just say I wouldve gotten the ten right)

@HoCru56 In March, I was so freaked out by the reality television prompt that I literally stared at the paper in horror for 10 minutes, trying to figure out what the hell I could write about. So I ended up running out of time, not finishing the final sentence, and having random-a$s holes where I had left things blank to come back and add words later. I got a 9 (seriously, I had entire sentences that were missing verbs and adjectives because I had wanted to go back and add better-sounding words), and with no incorrect answers on the multiple choice, still ended up with an 800.

So no, merely running out of time on your final sentence won’t hurt you. If I didn’t completely fail with an uncompleted final sentence, freakin’ missing words, and examples that I completely pulled out of my a$s (and were utter shiit-- American Idol and some made up book about a kid obsessed with Survivor. Really, I was that desperate. lol), then you should be fine.

I asked this before, and I don’t mean to sound annoying, but can anyone confirm the one about rock dummers? Was the answer the one with “rock drummers… that of” or “a rock drummer…that of” ?
