Has anyone who qualified for the second round taken it yet?

@lolkar You’re talking about the first round, right? Yeah, same here, I only got a 22.
I want to know how you felt about the second round (free response).

how did you guys study?
@Demonslayer1234 I basically used whatever I could find on the internet, ESPECIALLY WIKIPEDIA, to study the topics listed in the syllabus. Some of the math and language on those wikipedia articles were pretty complicated, so I had to use other websites like hyperphysics. I kind of knew a lot of the observational stuff since amateur astronomy is one of my hobbies.
The second test was just brutal though.
It seemed a lot more difficult than it was last year. I was only able to do about half of it.

@sm2011 Yeah, I could only do about 5-6 of the short problems. Last year’s test used various forms of the luminosity and magnitude equation, which was pretty easy.
