i can finally start using this thread! :D

so i guess usc is done giving out housing? i still have no housing and i applied 5/31 =(

do you have to take the foreign lang. placement test before your orientation? i couldnt take mine b/c i have to take it in person, but the dates already passed. i’m not even planning on taking foreign lang. first semester, so does it amtter that i take the placement test now?

@yel

I didn’t take the placement test either. I told them at orientation and they said to schedule one ASAP, but I didn’t have to stress if I wasn’t taking a foreign language this fall.

@tha

They’re pretty much done with housing. If you look back a couple of pages, I explained that USC Housing has connections to a lot of off-campus, privately owned housing. They’ll have info at orientation, and they (the private companies) offer tours of the housing units they have available. Pricing is comparable to SC’s prices, and most only rent to SC students. You may even find a roommate at orientation.

On a much happier note, I received my football tickets email today!!!

AHHHH! MARCO CONGRATS!!!

man I haven’t even looked at test-requirements…
Financial aid COME ON!

Hey, did anyone ask for a housing reassignment? If so, have you received it yet?

i received my housing assignment today. I was assigned to vista in 2 person 1 bedroom apartment. I already have an apartment so I’m not taking it.

Yott, what kind of room was it?

^ apparently it was a 1-bedroom, 2-person. :p

I meant like if it was big or small. I guess it doesn’t say . . .

HEY GUYS!

So I just got an e-mail from USC Housing today and unfortunately, they did not have a place for me.

Does anyone have any suggestions?!

I reallllyyyyyyy NEED A PLACE TO LIVE NEXT YEARR!!! :-(

Hey thanks. I also got that e-mail. But wouldn’t that require me to assemble people to house with next year? ughhh I’m so frustrated!!

^Same situation. Tuscany looks really nice, but then again would I have to assemble a group of people to room with me?

@ heyimadam

my cousin just told me that tuscany is EXTREMELY expensive. but if you’re willing to pay it, then I’m sure it’s really good. what are you going to do?

i guess today was final housing day

i got Vista 2B3P i’m definately gonna try to reassign only 30 ppl in the whole apartment building lol

@klim3690

yeah, Tuscany is pretty expensive, but you can room with enough people to bring your portion of the rent to like $700 or $800/month. i read in the email that Tuscany and Habitat Snoozee still have spaces available. HS is like $3300/month with a max of 5 people. but my problem may be finding those people. so i honestly dont know what im going to do just yet =(.

Yep, but the building is sure nice looking.

yeah, i really need housing so…

ANYONE NEED A ROOM MATE?!
I’m a female looking for other females to room with!!
message me!

as you guys can tell, i need a roommate or two as well to go in on an apartment somewhere. im looking for people of the same gender as me (male). but im not completely against having a female roommate.
