Ok, I finally chose USC BFA acting by the deadline, and im definitely happy about my decision. Still though, I'm having doubts deciding if this was the best decision for me based on what I want to do...I was offered money at Pepperdine, but i think that USC has the connections that are unmatched. Still though, spending all of this money on college to simply act, does this really guarantee me anything??

There’s no guarantee in this business. However, USC grads, particularly BFAs, are set up to succeed. I think you’ll probably have more chances here than you would at Pepperdine, though it is awesome that they offered you money. Best of luck to you, and I hope you love USC as much as I do!

you’re right, spending a lot of money on college for a field like acting isn’t necessarily a smart decision.

however you mentioned it yourself: the connections you’ll have at USC are absolutely unparalleled. i think that jobs in the entertainment industry are much more about who you know more than anything else. i mean obviously if you are a truly special talent you’ll eventually find your way onto the big screen. but for the rest of the actors in the world, it can only help to get a foot in the door by going to a school like USC.
