@tiys25-I might be going to chapman next year for business and/or public relations. I’m going to visit soon (i hope) to see how I like it.

And honestly guys, it’s USC’s loss because we would have all been great students (clearly we all care very much) and we don’t need a school to validate our smarts and abilities! We’ll all do awesomely wherever we go!!!

@adambedford ah yes we should start a thread. it’d be the most lively thread there!

@kmart153
the area around chapman is really nice; about 20 min. away from the beach, and my favorite: a few minutes away from disneyland
i think ill be getting an annual pass.

I’m at my dads house and my rejection letter is probably waiting for me at my moms haha…I’m choosing between Washington, NYU, and Texas…99% sure I’m gonna go with Texas because it’s a good price, great school (especially for business/econ), and would be the most fun of the three!

D got her rejection letter yesterday and the same day accepted at LMU where she has a generous merit scholarship. Even though USC didn’t work out, she’s very excited about LMU and glad she will still be in LA. And her dad and I are REALLY glad we won’t be paying the full USC tuition!

@tiys-YESSSS disneyland ROCKS! That would be so awesome! I’m basically picking between Chapman, UT Austin and U. Wash Seattle and it’s so hard to choose. I live in Austin so I regardless of UT having an awesome business school, I kinda want to leave and go elsewhere, so we’ll see?

this year is weird, waitlisted UVA
denied-ucla, berkley, usc, notre dame
acceptaed-wustl, cornell, ucsd

someone in my school got waitlisted at ND w/ a 3.95wgpa and a 28 ACT (he is asian)

Im white go figure (racist, not reverse racism, straight up racism)

Dream, if you don’t stick around and let us know about your USC appeal, your CMU waitlist or any other news, I’ll lose the will to visit this forum! Please keep us in the loop and continue to let us cheer you on.

rejected: yale, duke, and sc (not expected)
accepted: american for now, hear back from brown and the ivies on april 1st
waitlisted: stanford and wellesley

well i haven’t gotten my letter yet…but at this point it doesn’t seem like i’m getting in. so i will most likely be at the university of michigan next year, unless upenn surprises me with an acceptance this thursday. i honestly wasn’t expecting a rejection from usc but thanks for the support everyone.

I was rejected by NYU yesterday…I am an international student without a DHL reminder so i guess i was rejected by USC. If really, i will go to UT austin. I’m very thankful to this school because it gave me the first offer :)

Yes! I got into NYU. Received both emails and the actual acceptance packet. I applied to Steinhardt. Music Ed! Have you heard anything at all from NYU? I reckon you will soon! Good luck :).

S got rejection letter from USC today. He is making one last trip to visit his two top choices before he decides:
Villanova-School of Business
and SMU -Cox BBA Scholar (Business School with a fantastic merit aid package)

@ DreamupsidedOwn: If you were looking for generous financial aid package, you should have considered SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts. SMU is one of the the most generous with aid. I also heard that CMU will match any aid package offered by another college. Don’t know if that’s true, but it is worth a shot!

I haven’t heard anything from NYU and I guess everyone is in a panic that they didn’t receive any notification (the travel email or the acceptance email). I’m not sure whether to worry or not… not that it would do a bit of good anyway lol.

i just wanted to give my two cents about some of you debating about going to University of Texas.

i was fortunate enough to sneak into usc, so i’m going, but had i not gotten in, i would have had an extremely hard choice between michigan or UT. i have so many friends at UT, its an awesome school, great mix between social events/partying/and work ethic.

i just got back from spending the weekend at UT with some friends, it was great. and if youre instate the choice is even easier to make. texas is an awesome pick and i would really consider yall to look into it. naturally i’m going to tell yall not to go to a&m because im a texas kid =P

it was kind of a tough choice to turn down the money UT gave me, to spend full tuition at USC, but its where my priorities lie.

and i also saw someone else above thinking about heading to michigan. i almost committed to michigan just 3 days ago because i loved it so much when i visited, its an awesome school, great area and environment, cant go wrong with that choice.

i got rejected by a lot of the schools some of you guys got into, that i would have killed to get into, (nyu, berkeley, CM, etc) so i know you guys are gonna do awesome wherever yall end up at.

Rejected yesterday
