Anyone know the class size of some computer science intro classes?
Go to the following link and click on the various classes. Under the “Registered” column you’ll see the number of students enrolled in each class, and the max class size.
CS 109 is huge. Usually around 200 students. When I took the class, it was MWF and also included a discussion session. They seem to have switched it up to being just one day with a class time of 1 hour 50 minutes as opposed to the three 50 minute class sessions. My CS 103 class was around 80 students, so the a fair number of the CS courses can have class sizes that rival GEs. I’m taking a cross-listed CS/ITP class at the moment and it has 40 students, so that’s pretty much been the smallest CS class I’ve ever taken
