USC Fraternity Breakdown 2013

I found this interesting breakdown for 2013 here http://uscfraternityrankings.tumblr.com/ I thought it was relevant given that this subject has been talked about here in 2005, 2009, and 2011. What does everyone think?

1 – Phi Kappa Psi

This year we have a new top frat at USC. Phi Psi takes the crown for the 2013-2014 school year. Good looking face guys who know how to party.

#2 – Sigma Chi
The oldest, and probably most famous, fraternity at USC is Sigma Chi. Their Orange County pipeline of members and deep alumni connections keep them a contender every year.

#3 – Lambda Chi Alpha
Lambda Chi rounds out the top three frats at USC. More of a social club then a fratty-frat, Lambda Chis still pulls face guys from the LA area.

#4 – Tau Kappa Epsilon
TKE is the most diverse of the top five USC frats, pulling in members from all over the United States. Fratty and known for their registered parties, TKE moves up in this years rankings.

#5 – Sigma Alpha Epsilon
SAE is probably the frattiest frat of them all at USC. Their Southern style and good old boy party reputation have kept them strong for decades, although they have slipped in recent years.

#6 – Alpha Epsilon Pi
AEPi is a traditionally Jewish fraternity that pulls some of the best looking and wealthiest of them all in the Southern California area. Girls like them and their parties.

#7 – Pi Kappa Alpha
Pike is back on the row and that places them solidly in this year’s top 10 frats. Once a major player, it is up to them to show if they can bounce back and stay relevant.

#8 – Kappa Sigma
Kappa Sigma might be most famous for its misogynistic emails and naked romp on the roof, but it seems to have made it past its PR disasters to pull together a solid group of guys. This frat needs to be more consistent.

#9 – Sigma Nu
Alumni sunk some money into making this frat’s house look better, now they need to match that effort with rush.

#10 – Zeta Beta Tau
ZBT seemed to peak about 7 years ago, and have been slipping slightly ever since. Part of the problem (like Pike) is that they don’t own a house on the Row.

How is Beta Theta Pi?

I don’t know who is in charge of the Tumbler rankings but the original 2009 post is still valid.

1 Lambda Chi

2 Sigma Chi

3 Phi Psi

4 ZBT

5 TKE

6 SN
