I submitted my application on Nov 30 in time for merit scholarship consideration. There are green check marks on my common app, indicating that it was sent.
However on the yousc portal, it says that I am still a pre-applicant. Why? I need to find out what my USC ID is so that way I can send in scholarship applications, but so far I can’t find it anywhere. Is that information supposed to be on the portal, or emailed, or what? So far, no emails from USC.
I haven’t gotten it either, and I’ve been freaking out. I read somewhere that it can take 2-3 days so our best bet is to be patient 
I applied for the merit scholarship deadline and received an email two days later from a Roski representative asking me to verify that I had submitted before December 1st. After confirming, she told me I would be considered in the review process and that my USC ID would be sent to me “shortly.” Assuming she did mean by email, I haven’t gotten anything, and it’s been a month now.
@inejghafa Have you tried logging-in at https://my.usc.edu/ ? It should guide you in getting setting-up. Or, it should be able to tell you if the email you used when applying is already linked to an active USC ID.
If none of that works, you can always look up your assigned admission counselor and ask them via email…
