USC or UCB for CS

Hello, I am having a hard time deciding between USC or Cal for CS.

I know CS at Cal isn’t guaranteed, but I am confident and have a back up. Cal is cheaper for me by 5 thousand, but I appealed to both schools financial aid.

I went to both campuses and enjoy both.
The only thing about USC I am stuck on is the PDP program and smaller class sizes.

So considering that I want to get a masters in CS, which school should I choose?

If the appeal gets the cost down some, I’d go with USC. CAL is overrated, housing is expensive and not worth the cost. The area around CAL is full of indigents too. Smaller class size at USC is a plus and Trojan alumni network will be strong in CA.
