usc rescinding their admission decision??

i take the ib diploma.. and my predicted mark was 36.. and with ib exams coming up in a week im really stressed out.. im just wondering what mark do you need to not get your decision rescinded.. im really scared..

I don't think USC rescinds admissions decisions just for IB scores...I believe that decision is made solely on your senior year final class grades.

Im taking IB as well. I don't think our final IB scores will affect the admission too much.

I got the impression that it was weak second semester senior year grades that would be the basis for rescinding admission, besides disciplinary action (to be honest, though, I'm guessing on that second reason). IB credit is what you get to place out of classes/get course credit; I don't think it's anything more than that.

Has anybody ever heard of someone having their admission rescinded to any school? If so, what was the cause? How badly do you have to tank your 2nd semester grades to get rescinded?

Yes, someone that got a D in a class

If you are curious about being rescinded, or whatever, there was a whole thread about this (not USC only, but all colleges in general.. and some examples of people who got their admits rescinded by UCSD, i think..) http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=178124&page=1&highlight=rescinded
