<p>A $6 million dollar grant has been awarded by the NIH to USC researchers to study the role of DNA and enzymes in cancer. Dr. Charles McKenna, professor of chemistry and pharmaceutical science and Vice Dean for Natural Sciences in Dornsife, will be working with Dr. Myron Goodman, professor of biological science and chemistry, on the research project. They hope to improve the effectiveness of chemotherapy for cancer treatment.</p>
<p>Professors at Norris Cancer Center have received a $3.9 million grant from NIH. Drs. Gayther and Ramus were awarded the grant to continue their research on ovarian cancer.</p>
