For Cinema and Media Studies is there a maximum word/page count, I saw one last year that I think said two pages but I couldn’t find anything about that this year. Should I assume there isn’t one?
I do not believe that there is one. My daughter’s writing sample ended up being 7 pages long… and she was admitted. I would error on the side of it being complete and thorough versus trying to make it arbitrarily short. Most paper assignments – once you are within the program – are going to be in the range of 7-10 pages anyhow… so I would suggest longer versus shorter - if the subject matter warrants it. I.E. - you do not necessarily want to ramble just to make it longer, but I would not restrict yourself to an arbitrarily requirement to make it brief.
