How is the School of Architecture at USC?
I’ve recently been admitted to the B.arch program and would like to know more about the school.
Your question is pretty broad. What, exactly, do you want to know? Have you visited the school? My son graduated with a BArch in May. He swore that he was too busy to look for a job while in school, but within a week of graduation his professor helped him land a great job at a hot shot architecture firm recently featured in several magazines. My son was also able to minor in Cinematic Arts (his brother’s major), which was a huge plus for him. His school projects were brilliant, and one of his classmates decided to continue his studies at Harvard. I posted this article awhile ago, which indicates just how well-rounded USC’s program is perceived:
Thank you for responding! I have a few specific questions:
Do you know how many students are in each class?
Was it mostly lecture or studio (or a mix)?
How many hour a day are spent in the studio?
