USC School of Cinematic Arts Transfer - Failed Calc II

Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting here because there seem to be a lot of knowledgeable people around. I am currently a student at the University of California, Davis and I’m taking Calc II, but I’m fairly sure that I am going to fail this class. However, my major is Cinema and Digital Media, and I intend to transfer to USC SCA. My overall GPA after this failed class should be around 3.8 and I have a good academic record besides this math class (which I didn’t realize was unneeded).

Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have Zhang? Think you’d be fine if you have a 3.8 after the F, but you might want to write in any addendum forms explaining the F. Definitely should take anything you might fail P/NP in the future (although law/med schools still count NP as an F).
