USC Second Bachelor's Degree

Hi, is it possible that I could apply for a second bachelor’s degree when I was a former USC student who transferred elsewhere and graduated from a different university?
Specifically, after applying, would admissions disregard the application for the second bachelor’s degree and tell me to just return back (since I previously attended so I could return back anytime)? It’s more beneficial for me if I apply again as a new student because I’m trying to apply for Viterbi school of engineering. There are a lot of math and science courses I have to complete but I want to complete them at a community college, so the problem with me returning back (not starting as a new student) is that once you start at USC, you can’t transfer in any community college courses during the fall or spring semesters. If I just returned back, I would have to take all of the math and science courses at USC.

I would pose your question here… https://viterbischool.usc.edu/contact-us/

Good Luck

no. It is highly doubtful that you would be accepted over applicants who have NOT already received a bachelors degree.

“It’s more beneficial for me if I apply again as a new student.”
You AREN’T and WOULD’NT be a new student.
you have already attended college at USC and elsewhere. USC will know that.
As a transfer student, which is what you would be if you were accepted and you returned to USC, you would then be required to take any required classes at USC in order to graduate.
period.
If you want to take classes at a community college before you return to USC, they may count toward graduation requirements.

You already attended USC.
Why would you think that you would be a new student there? Just because you didn’t graduate from there?
You left the school. They are not going to ignore the fact that you left and say “okay, come on back, we’ll erase your previous record and let you restart”.

A second bachelor’s degree will require a new application, if they permit you to apply, and will not be funded by anyone except you. You’ll be paying $72k per year and you’ll have to get admitted, take classes for the major that are required.

Is this even a real post? It is really dubious that someone who attended college, would think that they could just show up and restart a new program.
