Hey,

I just received a yellowish document headed "University Of Southern California - Statement of Account" with a table separated into sections of Transaction Date, Description of Transaction, Charges, Pymts/Credits. It tells me that the amount due is -300.00, for my Nonrefundable Commitment Deposit. The account summary also says that the amount due is -300.00 and the due date is 05/26/06.

But on April 21, USC emailed me saying they received my commitment deposit:

"The USC Office of Admissions has received and processed your Enrollment Commitment Deposit Form with your payment (or approved deposit waiver). We're very happy that you've decided to attend USC and invite you to contact us if you have any questions."

I'm a little confused about this. Is the document telling me I owe USC $300, that I paid $300 to the wrong place, or is it just belated verification for my commitment deposit?

Thanks in advance!
