Planning on transferring to USC from CC for Fall 15', but I feel like I may not have the greatest chances. My grades have been sub par, up until now. I started CC with all the wrong mentality(felt like I was too good to be going to CC, with a high school GPA 3.8, top 10% in CA), coming out of high school rejected from all schools I applied to, and wound up with terrible grades my first semester of college(only took 3 classes, 1 non-transferable p.e. which I got a C in, and the other 2: English 1A- B, and Poli Sci 2- D, and a 2.125 GPA-_-). I soon realized I was never going to do good without humbling myself, so second semester I did way better, ending with 12 units and 3.25 GPA and a spot on the Dean's list! This semester has been amazing for myself, I have been more active in school, joining clubs with positions, and volunteering. For some reason it seems like the more stress I have, the better grades I get. So I took 17 units this semester(including BIO and Spanish) and am looking like a 4.0 with 4 weeks left! I really want to get into the school of Anneberg for their Comm/Public Relations program, but the only thing is I don't know if my grades and EC's are enough. This is really my only school of choice for Fall 15' (don't qualify to transfer to state or UC with 53 units), and I was wondering realistically what my chances are. I also don't have lots of opportunities to have any EC specifically pertaining to PR, so that really sucks, but I want to hopefully start a PR club at my CC next semester(fingers crossed!) Any advice and info is greatly apprciated, thanks!:)
