USC (Trustee + Bacc/MD) vs. Others! PLEASE HELP!!!

@placido: I think you are right on the money.

I mentioned before that USC encourages double majors, or minors with the major. This includes Bacc/Med students. My D knows at least 3 Bacc/Meds who are double majoring with one in a completely different field. I’m sure there are more.
One friend is a Bacc/Med (a junior now) who is majoring in Art History along with Bio, and had the opportunity to do a study abroad in Florence last semester and absolutely loved it. …I’m not sure whether the other options you have would allow this.
She is also a Trustee, and was accepted to other prestigious universities. She too has no regrets about her choice.
Another Bacc/Med friend is doubling in Journalism.

The fact that pressure is reduced due to your already accepted entry into med school, and that USC’s premed program is not cutthroat, a double major can offer that broadening of interests. Double majoring, study abroad, the challenging TO honours program are added perks to study at USC and that you might want to consider in your decision.

Furthermore, USC has what’s called the Renaissance Scholar designation, an academic honour and monetary prize which is bestowed on students who excel in a double major in disciplines that are widely distinct…a Science/ humanities, arts, classics for example. You might want to look at this too.
