@collegeappacc Okay, yeah, that’s what I see too.
@gggqqq The problem is people that are rejected don’t come back and provide info. And 5-10 or even 20 etc., people does not make a sample with something like 7,000 acceptances. CC is a teeny tiny world. Any posts on here are statistically insignificant no matter what. And it’s not a hint. But it has been fun to watch the speculation blossom. In today’s world, if someone (internet) repeats something enough times, someone on the internet will eventually believe it, lol. We see that happening like wildfire now!
@CADREAMIN I cannot argue against any of your points. The only thing I can say is that, when there is not enough information, we can only use what is available to make some reasonable guesstimate. The worst consequence will be giving someone a little false hope. In the end, people (at least I) can entertain the thoughts while waiting for the results.
@gggqqq Ya I get that, I just don’t want people believing it is a sure thing then being completely devastated when it goes the other way. As a parent, I guess I tend to want to protect from hurt - and there are some posters who really go dark when this college stuff doesn’t go their way and it worries me - but good for you going for the hope! That’s a good thing.

I know someone else who received the email, and got in.
My daughter got in with early March VeriTax. Yay! 
The real question is the opposite. Did anyone receive Veri-Tax who then got rejected?

We did not receive veri-tax email before, but received an email from financial aid at 1:49 am today, requesting to upload additional documents for verification (tax return and W-2). How come they request us to upload additional docs on the day of decision notification day? The admission decision still unknown (we are on the west coast) as of 3:38pm pacific time.
