<p>The USC Viterbi School of Engineering will offer a new degree this year. It will be a MS in Cyber Security. Students will study the development, engineering and operation of secure systems. Courses for this advanced degree will include secure operating systems, digital forensics, secure networks and cryptography, among others.</p>
<p>The National Institute of Standards & Technology projects by 2015 the United States will need 700,000 new cyber security professionals.</p>
