Hey everyone! I was admitted to both USC and BU and I am having trouble deciding what to do. At USC I was admitted into Viterbi with the major Industrial & Systems Engineering with a concentration in Information Systems Engineering. At BU I was admitted into the School of Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems. Although there are some similarities, these are two different schools with two different degree opportunities for me. What is everyone's opinion on both of these schools/major programs? Thanks!

well, which degree would you rather have? are they such different degrees that you could have different careers?

what are the differences in cost?

I think USC’s reputation far outshines BU’s these days. Viterbi is strong. BU’s School of Management is good, but not not of the same caliber.

USC would get you farther, especially Viterbi, but it really just depends on what you want to do more. I, for instance, would rather stab myself in the eye than study engineering, haha. If you don’t love engineering, I’d say go with BU because college will be hell if you’re doing something you don’t have a passion for.
