USC vs ucla fball game tickets...

are sold out? are they? somebody tell me.

or are they just not on sale yet?

Well, checking USC's website, it looks like the game is sold out, since all the other games are available to purchase tickets. I know for sure the Cal away game is sold out (can't wait!!). If you're buying the activity card, though, MrTrojanMan, you don't need to worry about it being sold out (unless you're buying tickets for someone else). You can always go to stubhub.com if you need tickets.

No, they're just not on sale yet. When they do go on sale, you'll see students camped out in front of the Student Union at 5am in line.

Well, yeah, I know it's not sold out for students since they haven't put them on sale yet, but as for general seating, I didn't know...

ok cool, so i can still get tickets? can i get them WITHOUT the activity card? theyre on sale on stubhub for like ~150 a piece, is that how much they usually go for? if not and if people are just buying in bulk to scalp, thats real sh1tty.

SO, word on the street (and by street I mean campus) is that UCLA tickets won't be included in the price of the activity card this year and that will be a seperately purchased, lottery system ticket.....

Nothing for sure on that, its just what I hear....

I heard a rumor like that, but nothing has come of it yet that I know of, so let's cross our fingers that it's not true.

That would be rediculous....all students (that want to) should be allowed to go to the UCLA game....we can definitely cram ourselves in there....

i think ill just call the ticket office

That's ridiculous. First they raise the price of the activity card, then the price of guest tickets, and now they want us to pay for the UCLA game in addition to buying the card?! I know when demand increases, you have the freedrom to jack up the price, but we're students, not general consumers, and also we already pay a hefty tuition. Hell, Berkeley freshman's get free season passes, and that's with their breakout season behind them!

Add this to the fact that they banned beer and also to them raising daily passes to $7 from $5 even with the added parking structure and you have one irritated senior.

I just realized I had this email from about a week ago:

"USC SPIRIT ACTIVITY CARDS

USC Students:

There is a new process this year for purchasing the "USC Spirit Activity Card". The "Spirit Activity Card" provides admittance to the student sections at all USC Athletic events, the ability to enter lotteries for limited seating events and certain "away" games, and includes a copy of USC's award winning yearbook, El Rodeo.

All Spirit Activity Cards will now be purchased online only. All students will receive an email in July with complete instructions on how to purchase your Spirit Activity Cards. You will also be able to set up your own "groups" for the reserved seat games, and there will be new lottery procedures for bowl and certain away games. The "Spirit Activity Card" purchase will be electronically encoded to your current and authorized student I.D., and I.D.'s will be scanned for admission at the games.

Look for your detailed email at the end of July.

Fight On!

USC Ticket Office"

This certainly doesn't sound good.

Yeah......hopefully the reserved seat games and the lottery games are NOT referring to UCLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can't wait
