USC vs. UCLA

I am applying as a transfer to USC engineering for the fall of 2007. I am confident that I will get in. But should I wait another year and go to UCLA provided I get in? Which is a better choice?

Well UCLA will cost less...

assuming cost is not an issue.........

Umm, whichever you want to go to more? "Better choice" is a very relative thing...

If USC would take you in Fall 2007 and you would have to wait until Fall 2008 for UCLA, that sounds like an benefit towards USC...but it entirely depends on what your priorities are, really.

I'd probably take USC because private schools generally take care of their students a bit better than publics.

Personaly I would take UCLA if you know for sure your in. If UCLA is not a sure thing, usc accepts you a year sooner, and money is not an issue, then i would probablly just got with USC.

why don't u apply as a transfer to both at the same time? that way if one rejects you, you won't have to make a decision. I'd prefer UCLA engineering.

in order to apply to UCLA you would have to be a junior transfer and I am applying to USC as a sophmore transfer

USC engineering is pulling in some of the best engineering students from Southern California. That, coupled with a huge endowment will make USC a grand program in the near future.

Hands down, USC. UCLA is good, but does not have the resources of USC, not to mention the private factor and such.

apply to USC now and go, if you don't like it, apply again next year. If you do like it, then stay there :D definitely get out of the CC or whichever ur in. USC or UCLA will be better.
