I recently found out that I have been admitted to USC for International Relations. Previously I had been admitted to UCLA's Political Science program as well. Because they are both great schools, it is hard for me to choose, so I would like you guys to give me some advices.
Here are my concerns,
Political Science degrees are not so marketable, although my education goal is PhD, since the entrance is very tough in these years, I may end up working as well, so IR may be better with the help of the trojan alumni?
I know from my friends in UCLA that the class size is HUGE, and class selections are limited due to budget cut. USC will have better class size and class choices overall. But since UCLA have a better grad school(according to USNEWS and my little research), will it help in the selection process of graduate program?(I will apply for US and UK schools)
Because I am an international student, the price gap between USC and UCLA is just 5000-6000 a yrs, that will become 10000-15000 difference in total since I am a junior transfer.
Thank you so much.
