Using "Child of God" on the AP lit exam

Has anyone used Child of God by Cormac McCarthy on the AP Literature exam? It think it could work well for a lot of the previous open questions, but I'm not sure how the graders would react.

Answer me!!!

I have not used it nor have I taken the AP test, but my AP teacher plans to have us read Their Eyes Were Watching God, which cannot be too different from that if you are concerned about the religious aspect (that is even if it is a religious aspect, I would not know, like I said, I did not read it or have knowledge of it.) The old exams all have said that you may use one of the works that they have listed or a work that is of comparable literary merit, so I am sure that what you are wanting to use is fine.

Child of God is not a religious book.
