UT Austin Fall 2019 Transfer

I’m hoping that bc I uploaded all my documents a bit before February that I get news with the first wave of decisions ?? Super nervous.

Not sure why I haven’t gone into review  I called to ask if it was because I was missing anything and they told me I was just going to have to wait

hey y’all, just a reminder- scholarship app deadline is tomorrow at midnight cst!

Did anyone else get the transfer year experience email?

What did it say?

I got it yesterday

I didn’t get one. What is it?

It was an email inviting me to apply for their transfer living learning community for first year transfer students in collaboration with the Transfer year experience program, so basically on-campus housing community for transfers but also interest groups etc.

I didn’t receive that email. Should I be worried and does your application still say in review ?

Nope. I got it and my application is only complete.

Maybe I missed it but now I feel like I shouldn’t be worried. Just praying a wave is released tonight and it’s mt acceptance. Praying for everyone!

I’m in review, but I doubt that it’s a big deal. It even explicitly mentioned that you could apply for it before being given a decision and that admission into the program is contingent on being accepted to the school, implying that you could be accepted to the program and then subsequently rejected from the university (and thus being removed from the program).

i didn’t get that email either. . What are your majors?

If a wave was coming out tonight, do you think it would’ve been released by now? Or do you think they’ll release one the week after spring break?

@ryanwharton i really don’t think they’ll be sending out decisions so early. I might be wrong though… I’ve been checking my MyStatus religiously.

I just thought because of how early they were reviewing and because people said admissions could send something out in 2 weeks. I think they might do multiple waves but I don’t know yet, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

@ryanwharton that would be amazing! I hope that you’re right. I doubt CNS decisions would come out. I feel like April will be the best bet. But keep your eyes out! GOOD LUCK! <3

Maybe for COLA that would come out soon ! But thank you and best of luck to you getting into CNS!!

ACC has a good reputation with UT transfer admissions. I transferred from ACC to UT five years ago. Out now, working, and waiting for grad school. Good luck to you.

UT is on spring break starting 3/18. Everything shuts down. Nothing will happen until following week- close to April.
