UT Austin: Which is easier to get into - Cockrell or College of Natural Sciences?

I am an OOS applicant, so I already know that UT Austin is extremely hard to get into for me. I am interested in either the Electrical/Computer Engineering major at Cockrell or the Computer Science major at the College of Natural Sciences. Which is easier to get into?

You should probably ask yourself which one of those careers you would want to be working in for the rest of your life rather than which one is easier to get into. Would you rather construct graphics cards, circuit boards, and chips for the next ten to twenty years of your life or go code and debug instead?

Regarding your question though, Computer Engineering is probably easier as it is less competitive; but don’t pick it if you’re going to hate it later on, it’s hard to transfer majors within UT.
