Has anyone received notification about Collegium Honors decision?
Son was auto admit and got into his major; got $10k AES but I am worried because of this statement " In addition to the funds provided by an AES award, students may receive support from private third-party scholarships. Any private third party tuition scholarships and state tuition and fee waivers are applied in lieu of the AES tuition and fee award. "- Son applied to a slew of outside scholarships but if they get wiped out due to AES not allowing layering then UTD will lose us. Additionally we have Tx Guaranteed Tuition for one of 2 kids and if I used it for him do you think I would lose AES? Seem ridiculous but A&M lets you layer at willâŠ
Definitely contact the FA office about scholarship stacking & AES.
If you have the TTPF I think itâs possible to roll those funds over to a 529. I donât know if itâs a good idea or not, but if youâre penalized for merit scholarship funds by having TTPF units, itâs something to look into. Read the fine print.
After nearly 4 months from application submission, and 2 from its completion, and multiple emails and calls to submit documents, I finally got inđ yay
Does anyone know how long it takes for finaid packages to come out?
So I applied 3 days ago to UTD, I know itâs late but does anyone know when I can expect a decision, and if the CS spots could be filled and I could get rejected? Thanks.
CS spots might be filled because itâs a very competitive major. You should get a decision within a month (at the latest). With this yearâs crazy application cycle, you might still have a chance of getting in as a CS major.
Anybody admitted in software engineering major at UTD?
