I've really been looking into University of Tampa's Sports Management major, but I dont know what to think about it as it relates to other programs. It seems UT has 2 internships and it's location is ideal for a baseball career (Spring Training facilities are literally a bridge away) but I don't know what to think of about their program.
Can anyone give me an opinion?

I would strongly avoid a BS in sports management. The degree is extremely limiting and doesn’t provide you with many options outside of that field. I would look into doing something in the business school for undergrad - and if you want the sports part try to be a manager for a school sports team or find some sports internships.

^I totally agree. If your goal is to work in Sports management, your best bet is to get admitted to a university that has a D1 sports program and prove you’re deserving of working for the sports services there. Next best is indeed studying Business/management at a university located in a town with professional sports, not “sports management”, taking as many classes within the business fields, as many math (several statistics courses and if possible up to discrete math) classes as you can, plus a solid general background. For baseball, Spanish and/or Japanese may help, although Japanese may be rarer.
