So I'm currently in cc and I want to transfer to ut. I will have 22 hours by the time I apply and I think I can get a 3.7-4.0 gpa I will do 15 more hours in the spring. I thought I had a good shot at getting in until I talked to a guy from ut, he told me that since I wouldn't have the 30 hours completed by the time I applied I would be at a disadvantage because they prefer those with more than 30 hrs. Is this true? Should I even bother applying? Any help would be great thanks. Oh I forgot I want to go to liberal arts for economics

You can’t transfer with less than 30 hours. Wait till next semester.

That is unless you will have 30 hours when you finish the fall,

Well according to them I can apply before completing the hours just as long as I have 30 hrs done before enrolling.
