UVA Chances?

Hey guys, I’m currently a Junior at Clements High School in Texas (ranked 666 by USNews, 108 by Newsweek), Class of 2017. My dream school is the University of Virginia, as I want to eventually go to the McIntire School. Would I be able to make it? If it matters, I’m ethnically Indian.

GPA: 3.27 Unweighted OR 4.94/5 (this is my main concern)
SAT: I haven’t taken it officially, but my practice scores fall between 2000-2200
PSAT: Good chances of National Merit, again, nothing confirmed
Rank: 249/617

APs (by end of senior year): World History, APUSH, Physics, English III and IV, Human Geography, Calc AB, Economics, US Govt, Statistics, Biology, Spanish, MAYBE Psychology

Extracurriculars:

Your GPA is a concern, but they care more about how you did compared to others at the same school than they do about your GPA. Unfortunately, your class rank is not mitigating; you are barely in the top 2/5 of your class.

On the other hand, the number (12-13) of AP classes on your transcript would at least merit a careful reading of your application.

I think it would be very difficult/unlikely for you to get an admission offer as an OOS applicant, though.
